This is a one-story, one part block commercial retail building. The front facade facing Howard Street has three bays, with the entrance in the middle bay. Each bay has large display windows with transom windows above. The transom windows are covered with metal. The bulkhead of the storefront are modifications with modern, non-historic brick. A metal awning extends across the entire length of the facade, supported by rods attached to original hardware. There is also a modern sign attached to the parapet wall of the main facade. The parapet wall has decorative brick courses and evidence of painted signs of previous occupants. The corners of the front facade are marked with rectangular brick pilasters. The side facade facing Carrolton Avenue historically had five large opening that are currently filled with concrete block.
